Nisi Escape

Squarespace Website

Nisi Escape is a gorgeous Greek retreat on the island of Lemnos, so the goal for this project was simple: let the calm, breezy feel of the place shine through online. I built the full website on Squarespace, shaping it into a warm and welcoming space where visitors can get a real sense of what a stay at Nisi feels like.

The brief was to create something clean, coastal and easy to navigate. I focused on soft colours, generous breathing room and a layout that guides people gently from one section to the next. The retreat has plenty of character, so the design leaves room for the photography to carry the mood. Slow travel, relaxed mornings, long lunches by the water. That sort of energy.

On the practical side, the site includes clear accommodation details, simple booking pathways and helpful info about the local area. Everything is set up so guests can find what they need without fuss. Squarespace was a perfect fit for this because it’s stable, quick to update and handles imagery beautifully.

I also made sure the site performs well behind the scenes. Optimised images, tidy structure and a smooth mobile experience mean it loads quickly for travellers doing their research on the go. The outcome is a site that feels light and honest. Nothing cluttered. Nothing trying too hard. Just a calm, modern home for a retreat that already speaks for itself.

Nisi Escape is all about slowing down in a sun drenched corner of Greece, and the website brings that feeling to life in a simple, thoughtful way. I
