Creating the website for Demoyer Architects, a boutique architectural firm based in Double Bay, Sydney, was a project centered on elegance, clarity, and visual storytelling. As a firm known for its refined and contemporary architectural work, Demoyer needed a digital presence that mirrored the sophistication of its physical designs.
The goal was to build a portfolio-style website that would not only showcase their completed projects but also communicate the studio’s design ethos to prospective clients and collaborators. From the beginning, the brief emphasised the importance of a clean, minimal interface that would allow the work to speak for itself. We focused on creating a layout that offered both visual impact and ease of navigation, ensuring each project was presented with generous imagery, subtle animations, and concise, thoughtful descriptions.
A neutral colour palette and ample white space were used to reflect the firm's architectural style which values balance, proportion, and calm.
The homepage serves as a curated entry point, giving users an immediate sense of the practice’s aesthetic values. Meanwhile, the project pages dive deeper, offering galleries and context that help visitors understand the thinking behind each build. Mobile responsiveness was also a priority, making sure the experience remains consistent and polished across all devices. The end result is a website that not only acts as a portfolio but also as a digital extension of Demoyer Architects’ brand: modern, understated, and deeply rooted in design integrity.
